The Church's Response to Different End-Times Rapture Teachings

A while back I sought the Lord on this issue:

God knows all things, He knows the end from the beginning, so He knew that there would be much confusion among His followers of when the rapture and His 2nd coming would take place.

This is without a doubt one of the hardest things to figure out in the whole Bible - probably THE HARDEST THING.

At the same time, in just a paragraph or even a few verses, He could have cleared all that up and made it extremely easy to see - but why didn't He? (perhaps he has, such as Revelation 3:10)

Then God Revealed this to me:

For 2 reasons:

  1. The Bible says that it is the glory of God to conceal a thing and the honor of Kings (that's us, His ecclesia) to search out a matter (Proverbs 25:2). Father God enjoys when we search kingdom things out, like a great Easter egg hunt that honors Him and His word.

  1. To reveal our hearts. And this I believe is the primary reason. If God lets His wrath fall on believers, then He's not a very just and fair God, because Jesus already paid for us to not have to experience God's wrath.

These three scriptures form a complete chain:

  • Romans 5:9 — Jesus’ blood saves us from wrath.

  • 1 Thess 1:10 — Jesus rescues us from coming wrath.

  • 1 Thess 5:9 — God did not appoint us to wrath, especially in the Day‑of‑the‑Lord context.

As someone who has made many videos about a pre-trib rapture and caught a lot of flack for that, I believe this is the primary reason why there are so many people who will vehemently criticize you if you are a pre-tribulation rapture believer – without realizing it, they are deceived by evil, which always wants us to doubt God's goodness and His salvation, and when they criticize others in the body of Christ, they are grieving the Holy Spirit and at the same time revealing the condition of their heart – which is full of division and bitterness, rather than unity and love.

Lord, please have mercy on Your body and unite us in Your love and grace.
